The Ministry of Economic Development has announced the limitation of the restaurants and cafe’ opening hours.
The announcement released by the Ministry reads that the previous decision on restaurant and cafe’ timings were reversed following the recent restrictions introduced by the Health Protection Agency (HPA). The Ministry of Economic Development has stated that with the new changes, the restaurants and cafes can only be open from 04:30 am till 11:30 pm.
The Ministry has advised following all the HPA guidelines set to provide services from the restaurants and cafes.
Previously with the ease of restrictions, the Ministry permitted cafes and restaurants to be opened from 4:30 to 1:30 on January 24. The Ministry reverted its decision as it coincides with the new restrictive measures taken by HPA.
Through the recent restrictive measures, HPA has once again reinstated curfew in the greater Male’ region due to the increased number of positive cases.
