He stated that the administration’s coordinated response is expected to bring major relief to the public, as the supply of medicines is gradually stabilizing and distribution systems are becoming more organized.
According to the Minister, measures have also been taken to strengthen procurement processes and enhance the systems that ensure consistent delivery of medicine supplies to the Maldives. He noted that efforts are being made to improve the operations of key supply agencies to meet the growing demand.
Minister Nazim also said that complaints about shortages of medicines are being actively investigated and resolved. He emphasized that both urban centers and islands have reported difficulties in accessing essential medications and that addressing these issues is a top priority for the administration.
Ensuring reliable access to healthcare and medicines, the Minister added, is a key pledge of the government. The administration remains committed to making essential medicines available without disruption to all citizens across the Maldives.
