Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has denied wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “India Out,” stressing his belief in maintaining strong diplomatic relations with India and other neighboring countries.
Speaking in response to a question from a member of Parliament today, Dr. Khaleel said that while he may wear T-shirts highlighting the Maldives’ independence and sovereignty, he has never endorsed slogans that could undermine diplomatic ties. He expressed pride in defending the nation’s freedom and sovereignty, noting that such symbols reflect national pride rather than political provocation.
