The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed Haa Dhaalu atoll Kulhudhuffushi island under monitoring upon the detection of the Covid-19 case.
Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi island was placed under monitoring as a person who is admitted to the Kulhudhuffushi regional hospital tested positive to Covid-19. As per the information received, the positive person was admitted alongside the person who was tested positive in Naifaru island.
With the monitoring status, HPA has restricted travel to and from the island. Kulhudhuffushi island is currently placed under monitoring for contact tracing and case investigation.
In addition to Kulhudhuffushi, R. Hulhudhuffaaru island, K. Huraa island, F. Nilandhoo island, R. Ungoofaaru island, and Dh. Kudahuvadhoo island is also under monitoring status.
