October 2nd; Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA) reports 44 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 38 Maldivians and 06 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 40 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 04 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 10,398. This includes 1,144 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 26 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 9,213 people recovered.
Maldives has recorded 34 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
