November 1st; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 42 positive cases from 1,920 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 19 Maldivians and 23 Foreigners.
A total of positive cases records 20 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 22 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 11,701. This includes 773 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
HPA also reported the recovery of 69 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 10,883 people recovered.
So far, Maldives has recorded 38 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
