The Ministry of Health has awarded the contract to STO to bring 20 ambulances needed for Maldives.
The agreement was signed yesterday to import the 20 ambulances within 90 days.
State Minister Ahmed Adil signed the agreement on behalf of the Ministry of Health. And Managing Director Abdulla Saeed signed on behalf of STO.
To provide all populated islands of the country with ambulances, the government has provided 96 islands with ambulances via STO.
STO said it is a great pleasure for the company to be able to play such a huge role in providing ambulances to all the islands in Maldives as part of the efforts being made by the current Government and President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to strengthen the health system in the country..
