Four people has been burned when a gas cylinder exploded on a fishing boat.
The incident reportedly happened at 4:15 am on the Addu City Feydhoo "Han'da" dhoni. The injured have been taken to Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital in GDh. Thinadhoo for treatment.
The incident occurred when the gas cylinder pipe broke while roshi was being prepared. The fire was brought under control immediately but four people sustained injuries in the explosion.
Out of the four injured, two were locals and two were foreigners. Two of the four people had severe burns.
There has been no official comment from MNDF on the incident.
