A drone was launched toward the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the northern town of Caesarea on Saturday, according to a statement from his spokesman. The prime minister was not present at the time of the incident, and no casualties have been reported.

The Israeli military confirmed that the drone was launched from Lebanon and struck a building, though details about the structure were not immediately clear. In addition to the strike, two more drones that entered Israeli airspace were intercepted by Israeli defense forces before causing any damage.

Israeli police reported hearing explosions in Caesarea, a coastal town where Netanyahu owns a holiday home, but there were no immediate signs of injuries or significant destruction, according to the Israeli ambulance service.

The attack has not yet been claimed by any militant group, including Hezbollah, the Lebanese Iran-backed faction that has been exchanging fire with Israel since last October. The group’s involvement has not been ruled out as investigations continue.

With tensions already high along Israel’s northern border, the drone strike has raised security concerns, prompting increased surveillance and defense measures in the region.
