In order to aid those impacted by the situation in Sudan, the UAE has dispatched three planes with more than 115 tonnes of food and medical supplies, according to Emirates News Agency.
100 tonnes of medical supplies, including medication, antibiotics, pain relievers, dressings, surgical tape, and endoscopic equipment, were delivered by two aircraft at the Port Sudan airport.
The third aircraft touched down in Chad with 15 tonnes of food aid for Sudanese refugees.
The UAE's leadership ordered the relief supplies to be sent, according to Sultan Mohammed Al-Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, and it shows their commitment to helping the Sudanese people.
