Minister Aslam has explained the statistics of the government of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the port developed by the government in Dhanraboodhoo island of faafu atoll today, Housing Minister Aslam said 561 structural development works are underway at various stages during the current term. Some of the 561 projects have been completed, he said.

The minister said 52 island harbor projects have been completed within four years. While the construction of ports in 40 island is underway, there are 25 islands where the contracts have not been signed and work has not started, he said. Two works are in the tender stage and the remaining few islands have not been tendered, he said.

The minister said six projects of the road construction project have been completed. Twenty-three projects are underway and seven are in the process of contracting and starting work, he said. There are two works and more works to be tendered, he said.

"We have completed 19 beach protection works. 14 are in progress. 30 are in the process of signing contracts for operation. Nine dredging have been completed and 8 are in progress s. The work of 1 island of the causeway is going fast and the other 4 islands are ready to start. Airports have been built in 2 islands. Work is underway in 4 islands," Minister Aslam said.

The Minister said that the transport system has been providing services in the three largest provinces of the northern 3 atolls. The transportation system has started in Lhaviyani atoll and will start in Huvadhoo Atoll in July, he said. The entire country will be connected by 2024, he said.

"This government has a vision and a plan. When we first took over the government, we drew a vision of what Maldives should be like. How many regions should there be? How many zones should there be in each region? cut it up on paper and write it in a book called the Speciation Plan." Aslam explained.
