MP Rozaina Adam, MDP – Addu Meedhoo Constituency, has said that the government of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih excels in listening to female voices.
Speaking to participants yesterday in a Workshop held for women who wanted their recommendations to be included in the presidential manifesto of President Solih, Rozaina said that his government has beaten all other previous administrations when it came to listening to female voices.
The initial composition of President Solih’s cabinet of ministers, immediately after taking office, is ample evidence that proves her right in her statement, said Rozaina.
“It’s a first in our history that 30 percent of the cabinet was reserved for women. There, we recognized, President Solih had a special place in his mind for women”, Rozaina told the Workshop.
