Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure Mohamed Aslam said yesterday that the list of recipients of land plots in Male’-Area under the government’s “Binveriya (let people own land) Housing Scheme” has been finalized and that “this is news of a happy beginning for permanent Male’ residents”.
In a press conference held at the President’s Office, to announce the finalization of the list of recipients of land plots under the housing scheme, Aslam said that the focus of the government is effectively addressing such national problems and solving them completely.
Residents of Male’, were passionate and greatly interested in the government’s housing scheme according to Aslam.
He assured that all who scored points that achieved eligibility levels set by the “Binveriya Committee” will be awarded land plots.
“The government has decided to award land plots to all qualifiers under the scheme as its new policy”, said Aslam.
