The Secretary at the Communications Office of the President's Office, Mohamed Hisan Ali Fahmy (Hisko) has stated that all the eligible recipients of land plots in Male’-Area, will receive the separated land titles before the end of this presidential term.

Following the announcement of preliminary list of recipients of land plots under the housing scheme, Hisan said President Solih is a leader who will keep his promises. Therefore, as promised by President Solih, the land will be separated and land plots will be granted for the recipients before the end of this term.

According to the 'Gedhoruveringe Committee', out of the 19,858 applications received under the 'Binveriya' Housing Scheme, 12,794 were eligible.

The preliminary list of land recipients announced under the housing scheme included 10,314 recipients including people who applied jointly and as separate individuals who would receive land plots under the scheme. The list is open for public to raise complaints or inquiries until July 15, 2023, through the 'Gedhoruverin Portal.'

The 'Binveriya' Housing Scheme is the largest housing initiative undertaken in the country. The programme received 15,164 applications from 23,088 individuals. The scheme aligns with the administration's commitment to providing housing and securing a life of dignity for all citizens.
