The local man who passed away Saturday afternoon is the 42nd death reported from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
The 57-year-old man was admitted to Hulhumale’ medical facility ICU for further treatment to Covid-19, while she passed away at 02:24 pm on Saturday. The Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirms that this would be the 42nd death from complications of Covid.
Although the daily positive cases reported are decreased, over 12,000 cases have been reported positive to Covid-19 in the Maldives.
