November 14th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 42 positive cases from 1,215 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 28 Maldivians and 14 Foreigners.

A total of positive cases records 32 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 10 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.

With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 12,154. This includes 843 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.

HPA also reported the recovery of 18 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 11,262 people recovered.

There are active Covid-19 cases in 26 resorts and in 07 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 59 Tourists and 80 staff have been tested positive for covid-19 in the resorts.

So far, Maldives has recorded 42 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
