The local man who passed away this Sunday morning is the 43rd death reported from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
The 79-year-old man was admitted to Hulhumale’ medical facility ICU for further treatment to Covid-19, while she passed away at 10:50 am on Sunday. The Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirms that this would be the 43rd death from complications of Covid.
Although the daily positive cases reported have decreased, 12,154 cases have been reported positive to Covid-19 in the Maldives.
