President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih returns to Malé on Friday at the completion of his presidential campaign tour to the Northern parts of the country known as the Great Thiladhunmathi.
President Solih - the presidential candidate of the ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), kicked off his two-day campaign effort to that part of the country on Wednesday.
On his tour to Thiladhunmathi, he visited ten islands.
During his visit, President Solih inaugurated government-funded and completed projects in those islands.
He told local communities that when he landed on the Islands he perceived an effortless win for him in the September presidential election.
President Solih had reached three other atolls – Shaviyani, Meem, and Vaav atolls, in his presidential bid before visiting the Northern parts of the country starting on Wednesday.
