President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated new FENAKA Offices and powerhouses on Tuesday on the Nadellaa, Rathafandhoo, and Fiyoari Islands of Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. The facilities were opened during the President's ongoing visit to the atoll.

The newly constructed FENAKA Office and powerhouse on Nadellaa Island have been strategically located and equipped with modern facilities. The office can accommodate up to 30 employees, while the powerhouse has a generation capacity of 590 kilowatts.

The newly constructed FENAKA Office on Rathafandhoo Island is equipped with modern amenities and can accommodate up to 30 staff members. This project, which replaces the island's previous powerhouse built 37 years ago, is part of the administration's commitment to addressing the challenges island residents face.

On Tuesday evening, President Solih visited Fiyoari Island during his atoll tour and inaugurated the island's new FENAKA Office. The office is equipped with modern amenities and can accommodate up to 30 employees, representing a significant improvement over its previous location, which had a capacity of only four employees at a time.

Under the leadership of President Solih, the administration has made significant strides toward achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
