Addu City Council publishes the provisional list of land recipients from Hithadhoo, Feydhoo, Meedhoo, and Hulhudhoo.
The Council after publishing the list asked the public to file their complaints before the agency finalizes the list of permanent residents in the city who had qualified for the land-grant program. The Council allowed a seven-day period for filing grievances against the provisional list. The council also said that it would finalize the list once all the complaints have been handled properly.
The council under the land grant program had allocated 1000 land plots to eligible residents from the above four districts.
The council said that 4,160 residents applied for the land-grant program and 3,997 among them qualified for the grant.
The council says that it would grant land plots to all the above eligible residents.
