Gasim Ibrahim, the JP presidential candidate, has promised to develop at least five resorts in the currently tourism-free Hdh. Atoll.

Speaking at a presidential election campaign event held in Hirilandhoo island, Gasim assured that his vows are sincere and that he will make it happen.

As one of the most successful business tycoons in the Maldives and one of the founders of tourism in the Maldives, Gasim Ibrahim has set important tasks to accomplish if elected President for the next five years. The most important of these is to reduce government waste and expand tourism to areas where there is currently no tourism development in the country, which includes Hdh. Atoll as well.

Economic policies have been formulated to ensure that tourism revenues are distributed directly to the entire country, assured Gasim during his speech to his supporters at Hirilandhoo.

During his campaign tour in Hdh Atoll, Gasim outlined various important policies to bring development and prosperity to the atoll. He also stated that the airport will be developed as an international airport, with international flights scheduled to land there.
