Speaker of the Parliament, Mohamed Nasheed, has said that the Budget report, compiled by Sunday, will be shared among the Parliament members.
Speaking at a recent press conference held at the Parliament, Mohamed Nasheed has said that once the report is finalized and shared, members can discuss any suggestion. The budget report is compiled after reviewing the government's proposed budget for 2021 at the budget committee.
Nasheed further said that the parliament members are clear on the government's proposed budget, with the detailed budget presentation by the government at the parliament and along with the parliament committee for government institutions has helped to understand the proposed budget as well.
Nasheed added that the budget debate held at the parliament has been closed, and a detailed report has been shared with the government administration.
