November 20th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 94 positive cases from 1,678 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 38 Maldivians and 56 Foreigners.

A total of positive cases records 49 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 45 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.

With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 12,546 cases. This includes 997 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.

HPA also reported the recovery of 22 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 11,497 people recovered.

There are active Covid-19 cases in 27 resorts and in 13 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 42 Tourists and 158 staff have been tested positive for covid-19 in the resorts.

So far, Maldives has recorded 45 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
