The HA. Dhihdhoo Harbor Development & Jetty Construction Project is currently underway with 80% project completion, says the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

According to MTCC, shipment of concrete blocks required for quay wall variation works have been delivered to the project site, and new harbor basin dredging work has reached 98% completion. Breakwater, quay wall and concrete bridge construction works are ongoing at the site.

Scope of works for the project include, 78,000cbm dredging & excavation works, construction of 58m groynes, 81m channel breakwater, 49m breakwater, 768m revetment, 898m quay wall, concrete ramp and scour apron, installation of 9,270sqm harbor pavement, navigational & harbor lights, and mooring buoys.

The value of the project is MVR 88.3 million.
