The HA. Muraidhoo Harbor Development Project is currently underway with 76% overall project progress.
According to the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), a third shipment of rock boulders has been delivered to the project site, and breakwater profiling work has reached 90% completion. Dredging work for the new entrance channel has also been completed.
The scope of the project includes new harbor basin dredging operations of 32,721cbm, channel dredging operations of 3,817cbm, construction of a 232m quay wall; a 395m breakwater; a 202m revetment; 50m groynes, installation of 1,933sqm harbor pavement, construction of a ramp, a concrete bridge and installation of streetlights & navigational aids.
The value of the project is MVR 37.69 million.
