The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has asked Urbanco to stop selling land from Hulhumale' during the transitional phase.
The ACC has issued such a notice while the Office of the President-elect has expressed concern that Urbanco is working to complete business transactions related to land sales from Hulhumale' during the transitional phase.
The ACC said it had received complaints about land sales from Hulhumale', and considering these complaints, the commission has directed Urbanco not to enter into any transaction related to the Land sales of Hulhumale'.
The ACC has ordered Urbanco to stop selling and leasing transactions of land including Farukolhufushi. The commission also urged against such practices during the transition period.
