President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed for the UAE.
The President-elect's office said today that the President is visiting Abu Dhabi on the UAE government's invitation. The UAE government will cover the expenses of the visit, the President-elect's office said.
However, the office did not share any further details about the visit.
President-elect, Dr. Muizzu also visited Singapore last week.
President-elect Muizzu will be sworn in on the evening of the 17th of this month.
