Fenaka has increased its staff to run the operations after completing projects on the islands, the company's Managing Director Ahmed Saeed Mohamed said.

Saeed said this at a press conference held by Fenaka today, responding to information released by the Office of the President-elect.

According to the Interim Office Spokesperson Firzul Abdullah Khalil ]the company has added 5,000 employees in the past five years. Last year alone, 747 people were added to Fenaka company, the interim office said.

Responding to this, Fenaka Managing Director Ahmed Saeed Mohamed said the company's employees were increased to run the operation and provide services on islands after completion of projects. The jobs were not given for any political purpose, he said.

Speaking in this regard, Saeed assured that no corruption cases have been proved against Fenaka during this term and as such, will continue to provide services.
