Former MDP Vice President and former Parliament member Alhan Fahmi, accused of running a Ponzi scheme to raise money has been sent to the Prosecutor General's Office for prosecution.

According to reports, Alhan's case has been sent to the prosecutor's office today. However, police did not disclose the details of the charges and the money involved.

Police began investigating the Ponzi scheme in March last year after it surfaced. Police then accused him of obtaining and laundering the money in violation of the Financial Securities Act and regulations.

However, Alhan Fahmi has denied the allegations.
