The new government will send the budgets of the newly created ministries on Monday.

The parliamentary administration made the announcement today.

Speaking at the end of today's session, Speaker Abdul Ghafoor Musa said the Finance Ministry had informed the parliament that it would send the state budget information for next year by Monday.

In the government of President Muizzu, 22 ministries have been created. These include entirely new ministries.

With the Finance Ministry proposing MVR 6.5 billion, the state budget has raised to MVR 49.4 billion this year. out of this, MVR 1.5 billion has been allocated to implement the projects required by the new government and fulfill the government's promises.

The debate on next year's budget has already begun. A total of 16 MPs spoke in the budget debate today. The Speaker announced today that the budget debate will continue tomorrow.
