December 1st; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 38 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 34 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 04 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 13,049 cases, including 1,027 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 246,233 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 1,718 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 29 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 11,968.
According to HPA, there are 89 patients admitted to hospitals.
The Maldives has seen 47 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
