President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of the GA. Vilin'gili Island Council, the North Huvadhu Atoll Council, and the Women's Development Committees (WDCs). The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the North Huvadhu Atoll Council.

During the meeting, the Vilin’gili Island Council members highlighted the need for early completion of the Vilin'gili Habour, an uninhabited island under the jurisdiction of Vilin'gili Council, expansion of atoll hospital services, and speeding up construction of new buildings. They additionally relayed concerns regarding delays in the construction of housing units, challenges faced in waste management, and other pertinent developmental issues on the island.

Speaking at the meeting, the North Huvadhu Atoll Council members noted that they have already secured funding to renovate mosques on all the atoll's islands. The Atoll Council members also emphasized the importance of renovating the State House and addressing the most pressing issues for the atoll's development.

In response, the President assured that the challenges highlighted by the Council members would be addressed and tackled.
