President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has affirmed his commitment to enhancing the technical capabilities of the Maldivian Police Service, highlighting plans to develop skilled personnel within the force.

During a meeting held at Iskandharu Koshi on Thursday Evening, to engage with members of the Maldivian Police Service, President Muizzu underscored the importance of equipping the police force with advanced technological skills to better serve the nation.

Expressing his top priority of ensuring that the Maldivian Police Service delivers the highest standards of service to the people, both on a personal and institutional level, President Muizzu outlined plans to facilitate the recruitment of postgraduates and upskill existing employees to meet evolving technological demands.

Furthermore, President Muizzu emphasized the government's commitment to expanding police infrastructure and services across all islands in the Maldives. He also urged the police force to prioritize building strong community relationships and ensuring that the services provided are both acceptable and cherished by the people.
