Minister of Construction and Infrastructure, Dr. Abdullah Muthalib, has reassured the public that no housing-related information was lost in the recent fire, as all such data is securely stored in the cloud.

During a press conference today, Dr. Muthalib explained that a significant amount of government data had been backed up, minimizing the impact of the incident.

The minister emphasized that housing-related information remains intact, and while assessments are ongoing to determine if any data has been affected, efforts are underway to recover any other potentially lost data to ensure continued service delivery.

Dr. Muthalib also clarified that all information regarding housing loans is stored in the cloud, guaranteeing that no essential data required to provide services to the public is lost.

Additionally, the minister mentioned that authorities are reviewing historical data to evaluate the extent of any data losses and exploring the possibility of recovering additional information from the servers at the affected site.
