The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has suspended MWSC Deputy Managing Director Mohammed Fazeel Rasheed, brother of HDC Managing Director Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed, following an ongoing investigation into alleged land allocation irregularities.
The suspension follows a decision by the PCB to suspend the entire HDC board, including Fazul, amid concerns over land distribution issues.
The Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) confirmed today that Fazeel has been relieved of all responsibilities and will cooperate fully with the police investigation. The suspension comes after it was revealed that Fazeel had applied for permission to construct a wall using what is believed to be a forged document.
