Statistics from the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) show that revenue from jet fuel sales increased by the end of November last year.
According to the statistics of the central bank MMA, by the end of November 2024, goods worth 256.2 million dollars were re-exported from the Maldives. During the same period in 2023, goods worth 233.6 million dollars were re-exported.
Among re-exports, the largest increase was in the amount of jet fuel sold. By the end of last year, that figure had increased to 197.2 million dollars. In 2023, the amount of jet fuel sold stood at 173.6 million dollars.
According to MMA figures, by the end of November last year, goods worth 3.07 billion dollars were imported to the Maldives. This is 2.8 percent less compared to the previous year.
Additionally, a total of 336.9 million dollars has been recorded as exports by the end of November.
