Aasandha has officially launched in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Thailand, expanding access to medical services for local patients in these countries.
The Aasandha company announced that the scheme will be available in hospitals empaneled to provide services under the Aasandha program. These hospitals will offer medical services to Maldivians according to the rules of the Aasandha scheme.
Additionally, Aasandha has outlined priority rules for referring patients to hospitals in the UAE and Thailand. The priority will be given to patients in need of kidney transplants who do not have family members to donate. Following that, patients suffering from diseases will be referred to centers in Sri Lanka, India, or Thailand.
Aasandha assured that patients referred to these centers will receive necessary medical treatment, with technical advice provided by the relevant teams of doctors.
