The Maldives Immigration has decided to deport three foreign nationals involved in an altercation at Artificial Beach on Thursday night.
The individuals, all Indian nationals, were arrested by the police after the incident, during which they also attacked a local resident who was filming the scene.
Controller General of Immigration Mohamed Shamaan Waheed confirmed that the three foreigners were handed over to Immigration by the police following their involvement in the altercation.
Shamaan stated that the individuals are being deported and emphasized that the authorities will not tolerate actions by foreigners that endanger public safety.
