A no-confidence motion against Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihusaan, is set to take place in tomorrow's session of Parliament.
The motion, signed by 12 members from the MDP parliamentary group, was passed by the General Committee of Parliament last week, which granted Ihusaan one hour to respond to the allegations made against him.
To pass the motion, a majority of the total number of MPs is required.
The MDP filed the motion, accusing Ihusaan of attempting to increase the number of members in the PNC by allegedly misusing the DNR database. Minister Ihusaan has denied the allegations, asserting that they are baseless.
