March 4th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 167 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded include 135 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 32 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this,15 people are positive from operational resorts.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 20,447 cases, including 2,664 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 541,164 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 4,089 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 117 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 17,712.
According to HPA, there are 180 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 64 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
