President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Mohamed Fazeen as a member of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission (MBC).
After presenting Fazeen with the Letter of Appointment today, President Solih discussed pertinent issues related to the broadcasting sector with him.
Fazeen is well-established in the field, graduated with a Diploma in Information Technology from Villa College in July 2010. He started his journalism career in March 2012 in Channel News Maldives (CNM) and later served as a Senior Video Journalist at Raajje TV from February 2014. He also has a background in hotel management and operations.
The Maldives Broadcasting Commission is an independent body mandated to govern the Broadcasting Act's implementation (Law no.: 16/2010).
