Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusaan has praised the Maldives Correctional Service for its vital contribution to the nation, highlighting its role in rehabilitation and reintegration efforts.
In a special video message marking the Maldives Correctional Service anniversary, Minister Ihusaan congratulated the service’s leadership and staff, describing the institution as a key pillar of the state. He noted that the Correctional Service fulfils important national duties by providing specialized treatment and guidance to those in its care, to help them successfully return to society.
The minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the Correctional Service, including plans to enhance its technical capacity to better carry out its mandate.
