President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has extended well wishes to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of his inauguration as Emir of Kuwait.
Along with his sincere well wishes, he has extended his condolences to His Highness, the Al-Sabah Family, and to the Government and people of Kuwait, upon the passing of the late Emir, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, a true leader and visionary, whose legacy will endure for years to come.
President also highlighted the relationship between the two countries hoping to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries through the new leadership.
Sheikh Nawaf is the 16th ruler in Kuwait’s al-Sabah dynasty, which dates to 1752. He is the sixth emir since Kuwait gained independence from Britain in 1961.
