September 29, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 141 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 29 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 112 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 04 people are positive from operational resorts, and 108 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 84,720 cases, including 1,601 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,410 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 106 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 82,875.
According to HPA, there are 19 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 231 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
