Vice President Faisal Naseem on Monday met with and congratulated Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh Abdul Gadir, a finalist in the Dubai International Quran Competition 2022. Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh represented the Maldives in the competition held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During the meeting, the Vice President described the hafiz as an inspiration to all young children and urged him to continue in his efforts to study and recite the Holy Quran. Adding that the administration would continue its work to provide similar opportunities for young hafizes, the Vice President emphasized the need to instill love and interest in the hearts of the young for the Holy Quran.

Further in the meeting, the parents of Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh shared their son's experience in the competition with the Vice President.

Along with Vice President Faisal Dr. Ahmed Zahir, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, and Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh’s parents, Aminath Mohamed and Abdul Qadir Qasim attended the meeting held at the President's Office.
