Speaking at the Parliament, Mr. Nasheed raised his concern over the delay in investigating the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) embezzlement and money laundering scandal.
Further speaking, Mr. Nasheed also said that the delay in the MMPRC is concerning while it is clear who was involved in the MMPRC embezzlement and money laundering scandal.
He highlighted that while accepting the charges to the MMPRC scandal, former Vice President Adeeb has shared 70,000 messages to the investigation and these messages were sent from his phone, during the MMPRC scandal.
Nasheed continues to raise his concern over the delay in investigating the MMPRC scandal as the statement by Adeeb and the messages would give details on people who were involved in the scandal.
