Abu Dhabi-based budget carrier Wizz Air, announced on Thursday, that it has launched two new routes from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait and the Maldives.

The flights to the Maldives are scheduled to start in October. Wizz Air will operate four flights a week to Sri Lanka every Saturday, Tuesday, Tuesday, and Thursday. These flights will be operated on Airbus A321neo, which can seat 239 passengers.



Wizz Air began operations in January 2021. The new routes will see Wizz Air Abu Dhabi fly to a total of 34 destinations.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is an Emirati scheduled low-cost airline based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and is jointly owned by the state and Wizz Air holdings.
