Member of Parliament for Addu Meedhoo constituency Rozaina Adam has accused Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed of sending his "gang" after her.
With the division between the two factions formed within MDP, President Solih's faction and MDP president Nasheed's faction, growing larger, the two sides are attacking each other verbally. As such, recently there have been verbal fights between Rozaina and supporters of Nasheed. The latter have now started a campaign against Rozaina on social media.
Regarding this, Rozaina has said that Nasheed has sent his whole gang after her and that his purpose is to show what happens to those who stand up to him. She said that harassment and bullying is done in social media so that no one else can dare to stand up to Nasheed.
Rozaina has stated that such things cannot stop her. She has asked people not to fear Nasheed and that one should fear only one's Creator. She also asked to stand up in the defense of the party and the nation.
Nasheed has not made any comments regarding Rozaina's accusation.
