Police have seized a network engaged in the illegal drug trade in a wide range of the country.

According to sources, in this operation, the police arrested 6 individuals. All 6 are Maldivian. Police, however, have not yet formally shared any information regarding the operation.

Of the arrested, three have been remanded for a period of 30 days, two for 25 days, and one until the end of the trial.

According to sources, in this operation, the police seized a large amount of money in addition to illegal drugs.
