There will be a million things to say as the presidential election approaches, says Adhalat Party President, and the Minister of Home Affairs, Imran Abdullah.
Minister Imran said there would be a lot of talk as the election approaches. However, the people who are going to vote will do justice to those words, said the Minister.
Imran's remarks come at a time when the campaign of former President Mohamed Nasheed and President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih has intensified. Both are campaigning to win the party ticket to compete with the Presidential election.
Although the candidates campaigns are intensified, Nasheed is seen promising to win the primary and do a lot of things when he comes to power. If he comes to power, he has already promised to solve the housing problem and reduce taxes.
Imran’s remarks were apparently referring to similar remarks made by Nasheed during the presidential primary campaign. However, he did not name anyone who his remarks are intend for.
